As a qualified UK primary teacher with extensive KS1 and KS2 classroom experience, I provide carefully tailored tuition for children who need to strengthen their reading foundations, build confidence, deepen their comprehension or prepare for important assessments.

A personalised approach to every child
No two children learn to read in exactly the same way. I therefore begin by identifying your child’s current strengths, gaps and learning needs, before carefully adapting each lesson to provide the right balance of support, challenge and progression.
Lessons are structured, purposeful and engaging, with a clear focus on helping children understand not only what an answer is, but how and why they arrived at it.

I create a supportive environment where children feel comfortable making mistakes, asking questions and sharing their ideas. At the same time, I challenge pupils appropriately so that every lesson contributes to genuine academic progress.
Rather than simply working through questions, I focus on developing the underlying skills that enable children to become independent, resilient and capable readers.
