Textile designer turned art history tutor, weaving together passion and expertise to inspire students of all ages.

I will teach art history using a variety of engaging and interactive methods, including: Visual storytelling: I will use high-quality images and videos to bring art to life and tell the stories behind the artwork. Critical thinking and analysis: I will encourage students to think critically about the artworks they study and to develop their own interpretations. • Hands-on activities: I will provide students with opportunities to engage with art in a hands-on way, such as through creative projects, role-playing exercises, and online museum visits. Collaborative learning: I will create opportunities for students to learn from each other and to share their own ideas and perspectives. I will also differentiate my instruction to meet the needs of all learners. For example, I will provide students with different types of scaffolding and support, and I will offer them a variety of ways to demonstrate their understanding. I believe that art history is a valuable subject for all students to learn, regardless of their age or background. It can help us to understand our own culture and history, and it can also inspire us to create our own art. I am excited to share my passion for art history with my students and to help them develop a lifelong appreciation for art.
