Private Mathematics Tutor specialising in GCSE preparations

Hi, my name is Elizabeth (Libby) and I specialise in private, in-person Mathematics and Physics tuition up to and including GCSE. I also offer Religious Education tuition up to A Level. I am happy to make arrangements for online tutoring should it suit your circumstances.

Prior to owning my own tuition business, I worked as a Secondary-School Teacher of Mathematics at a Catholic Academy for students with a wide range of academic abilities. The skills I developed as a Teacher, combined with my training, formal education and 5+ years of experience in the education sector, are reflected in the academic achievements of a number of my past students who I have successfully helped through their GCSE examinations, allowing them to progress onto further academic study.

I am a graduate from the University of Liverpool with an MA in Music & Audiovisual Media, and a BA in Philosophy. I am currently undergoing a 2-year PGCE qualification with the University of Sheffield Hallam. Prior to that, I studied for A-Levels in Maths, Physics, Philosophy and Music.

After undergoing such a high-quality of education myself, I will forever be grateful for the opportunities that my education afforded me, allowing for the development of unique skills and knowledge. I am passionate about imparting these skills onto other young persons in ways that exceeds the boundaries of mainstream educational settings.
