The old professor with funny stories

We play games, do puzzles, projects and quizzes. I don't believe in setting boring homework, but you still have to learn some verbs off by heart for engaging tests. We watch videos and report on them, and do research and write about it. The ideà is the less of me and the more of you using English more and more correctly.
I have a lifetime's worth of experience teaching English all over the world, but especially in the Far East. My last two jobs before Brexit and Covid hit simultaneously were in southern Italy teaching in a private language school in Lecce, and before that, three years teaching English language writing, reading, listening and speaking at SCIC college, Guangxi University, western China. I taught classes based broadly on the IELTS curriculum, but with an emphasis on remedial work fixing the basic English language errors Chinese students make in grammar and pronunciation.
I have also been to !aw school and have taught in banks and businesses in Taipei, Taiwan over the years. As an old trade journalist as well, I have years of economics and business experience with which to build your English language proficiency.
I can also teach English for specific purposes, such as military and police professional exams, which I have done quite recently in Italy.
