A-levels and GCSE examiner and maker/ university lecturer in translation and Portuguese

I am a GSCE and A-level examiner and marker. I am also a lecturer of Portuguese and translation at the Universities of Surrey and Birmingham, I obtained my BA in English and Portuguese language teaching and linguistics from PUC-SP in 2008.
In 2010 I obtained an MSc in Developmental Linguistics at the University of Edinburgh. The same year I also obtained the CELTA certificate.
I have been teaching languages for 10 years. I have taught English in Brazil. I have also taught Portuguese in Italy. Since 2014 I have been teaching Portuguese at many levels in a variety of language schools and universities in England. I've worked for many years at the University of York. I am specialized in preparing students to sit for proficiency exams, in the last two years I have worked as an oral GCSE examiner.
In January 2018, I started teaching Italian, and in the same year, I finished my Ph.D. in Linguistics at the University of Sheffield. Since 2012 I have been publishing the results of my research on second and bilingual language acquisition in articles in specialized journals and conference proceedings. I have been teaching online and taking courses about it since 2016.
