Conversational Business English Lessons for Adults with Experienced Teacher

I am Simon, and I'm here to help you learn and improve your English language skills. I also bring years of legal and business experience and a love of language to my teaching. For 25 years I was a lawyer in London and later I managed a bicycle sales and distribution business. I now teach English to speakers of other languages with an emphasis on professional business English and how we actually talk. As a lawyer I learned early that it is important to be very clear in language, to avoid ambiguities, and that the meaning of what I wrote and said had to be correct. I love English as a language, and my aim is to share my skills, knowledge and enthusiasm with students like you. I will help you to improve your English through conversation and exercises, with a bias towards relevant vocabulary and improving pronunciation. Lessons are fun - book a lesson with me now! I qualified as a teacher with a Cert(TESOL)(Trinity) (Level 5 TEFL) and since then have taken courses in online teaching and business English tuition. In 2020 I worked in a language school, and since then I have been working online and in person to help students improve their English skills and understanding. My principle method of teaching is through conversation with students. In this way students can practise speaking and learning vocabulary, pronunciation and grammar and I can assist with errors or difficulties as they arise. Homework consists of exercises to assist with writing, vocabulary and grammar. I also give students small language challenges every week. I am approachable and am waiting to hear how we can work together. I enjoy learning from you, my students, about your lives/countries/experiences, which can make conversation easier for you. Please book a trial lesson with me so we can get things started. I look forward to meeting you on the platform soon.
