Pre-University Student Offering 11+, GCSE Maths and Additional Maths Tution!

I am a pre-university student, who holds a 9 in IGCSE Maths and an A in A-Level Maths. I attended Bancroft’s School for 11 years and achieved an A (the highest grade possible) in both subjects tested (Maths and English) in the 11+.

Given that I have a strong academic background in maths, I enjoy helping others understand complex ideas and I can make excellent digital resources, I believe I could help you make significant progress.

I can provide clear and structured maths lessons, as I currently volunteer at my Church teaching religious education in a clear and easy-to-grasp way and have been doing so since I was thirteen.

I can help students build confidence through practice, active recall and affirmation. I can develop problem solving skills in students by often placing questions before them and teaching them foundational principles before introducing them to gradually harder problems.
I am able to support with homework and exam preparation, having completed over 64 homework assignments in my last three years of school and prepared successfully for exams.

I can deliver patient, easy to understand teaching. I patiently broke down and enabled the boy sitting next to me in A-Level Maths to understand some of the complex concepts taught in class. He is now currently studying at a top UK university (Imperial College London). I am happy to have a student focused approach as I am firmly convinced that the best tutoring is tailored to each student.
