Advert description
For me, since the time I was at school, English lessons were always enjoyable and fun way to learn. Nearly all the tests that I took (and believe me there were plenty throughout the time) whether at school or university were as if a game for me - checking my instincts ( knowledge built through time) and practicing my hearing skills. (if a certain combination of words/sentences sounds good to me) Yes, I have a background in music and I guess that played a part in this process as well. My journey with English language helped me build a deeper understanding that language skills are former not just from constant repetition of specific grammar rules or examples, but a big part of this process takes building listening (to the people who speak the language, radio, movies) and hearing skills (saying words out loud, connecting previous experiences and recognising when a certain word sounds right/wrong)
My language experience is gathered through numerous work and volunteering. For example, I have worked as a youth mentor whilst being a student at the University (-Lithuanian University of Agriculture, Ecology and Environmental Sciences - BSc, Forest Ecology - MSc). I have worked as English as a second language teacher whilst studying in Bandung, Indonesia (-). I had a great outcome and feedback from pupils and teaching staff. I have earned my 3 academic levels (BSc, MSc, diplomas) and I know that this is not yet the end for me as I love studying journey in general and I believe it unleashes my curiosity and willingness to know more. My recent teaching experience involves creating screenplays, leading musical activities and organizing events at Lithuanian school 'Pasagele Ltd'. Commonly this position involves mediating between English and Lithuanian languages.
I enjoy sharing my knowledge and working with youth (from pupils to students), however I am keen to assist a person of any age.
I can work either privately or in groups. I can adapt easily to ones needs and create engaging activities that suits the person. I believe in a power of communication and that is the way forward in solving any stones along the way.
