I am a qualified primary teacher with experience teaching children from ages 3 to 12. I have experience online teaching and would like to teach both english and maths to children of this ages.

I am a passionate primary school teacher with a pride in bringing enthusiasm to the classroom environment. I take great pride in providing a rich, exciting learning environment for the children I teach. Recognising that children learn in different ways I relish the opportunity of setting meaningful and challenging learning objectives best suited to their needs. I am currently looking for online tutoring experience in order to apply my skills and knowledge from working in classrooms and gain further knowledge in progressing in targeting specific areas of a subject in order to help students improve and progress. I have experience tutoring 1:1 in person with primary aged children during my time at university. I was responsible for closing attainment gaps in maths in order for the children to be able to better access the curriculum. I have also had experience online teaching during the COVID-19 pandemic. I was responsible for a class of thirty at the time and provided direct teaching online as well as consolidation tasks. I utilised tools such as Kahoot, google classroom, google drive and google meet to make the learning experience more engaging for all pupils.
