Advert description
I’m a Psychology graduate with a genuine passion for the subject and experience tutoring high-school students in a range of subjects. My main areas of interest are cognitive psychology, individual differences and forensic psychology. In my final year, I particularly enjoyed studying topics including psychology in the courtroom and children who kill, which strengthened my interest in forensic psychology.
I’m also confident supporting students with research methods and data analysis, having completed large-scale data analysis for my dissertation. Alongside subject knowledge, I have strong skills in essay writing, critical thinking, research and planning, and can help students break down more difficult topics into a way that makes sense to them.
Through previous tutoring and working with individuals with anxiety, I’ve developed a patient, adaptable and supportive approach. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I tailor sessions to the individual and aim to create a relaxed environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and building their confidence. Whether you need help understanding a topic, preparing for exams, improving essay skills or getting to grips with research methods, I’d be happy to help!
I completely understand how stressful exams I have been there myself and I know any help would’ve made a huge difference in reducing my mental load.
