I have been teaching for several years alongside my medical studies, which has given me both experience and confidence in supporting students at different stages of their education. Throughout this time, I have learned how to identify a student’s individual strengths and weaknesses and adapt my teaching style to suit their needs.

One of my greatest strengths is communication. I make sure to explain concepts in a clear and simple way, breaking down difficult topics so that they are easier to understand. I also encourage questions and discussion, as I believe this helps students engage more actively with their learning.

In addition to subject knowledge, I place a strong emphasis on study skills. I support students with organisation, time management, and exam techniques, helping them to become more independent learners. My approach often includes creating structured study plans, which give students direction and help them track their progress with confidence.

Studying medicine has further developed important skills that I bring into my teaching, including patience, problem-solving, and attention to detail. I understand the challenges of preparing for exams and the importance of staying motivated, and I aim to pass on strategies that I found useful during my own studies.
