Experienced teacher offering violin and viola lessons to students of all ages and levels

Hello! I have two performance degrees and 20 years of teaching experience the violin and viola both in schools and privately. I am now able to take on more pupils in my private practice where I offer one to one lessons on the violin or viola in my home.

I have years of experience teaching all ages and enjoy working with pupils from young children up to retirement age and everything in between! Lessons are 30, 45 or 60 minutes depending on the pupil's level and preference.

Learning an instrument has a huge number of benefits and I aim to make lessons engaging, fun and varied. I do not use one particular method but prefer to work with pupils in a way which suits their individual needs and preferences. I like to give my pupils a solid technique and a set of skills that they can then take forward to play in a variety of musical styles and play in groups with other musicians.
