My name is Nicola, a passionate and dedicated primary school teacher helping students excel within the Scottish curriculum. I am committed to ensuring that each of my students reaches their full potential in a supportive and engaging learning environment.

During our initial session, I will take the time to get to know your child and thoroughly assess their specific needs and goals. Based on this, I will create fully personalised lessons in numeracy and/or literacy that utilise a variety of teaching methods, including written work, digital resources, and hands-on activities.

I pride myself on my friendly and nurturing demeanor, believing that the voice of the learner is essential to meaningful sessions that effectively address and remove learning barriers. My lessons are tailored to your child's unique interests and learning style because, let's be honest, we all learn faster when it feels fun and relevant!

I am experienced in supporting children with autism, dyslexia, and anxiety, as well as those for whom English is an additional language. I recognise that success looks different for each child, and my sessions are carefully designed to provide a regular sense of accomplishment while maintaining an appropriate level of challenge
