English tutor, with a B in Higher English, willing to help primary age pupils

I’m Sophie, I just turned 19 in June and i’m working towards being an English tutor. I finished my last year at St Benedict’s High School in April 2023, I didn’t go straight into University as I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life as there are so many career options to choose from. It wasn’t until recently that I decided tutoring seemed like the right path for me. I’ve always loved English, it’s been my favourite subject all throughout high school and my proudest achievement was getting a B in higher level. One of the challenges during my time at school was having to do online learning, this was right before my year group sat their National 5 exams, so there was a lot of added pressure having to basically teach myself without the direct help of my teachers.

Back in primary school I was constantly praised for my work, I always knew exactly what I was doing when it came to the structure of sentences and paragraphs, close reading exercises, and my personal favourite…creative writing.
