Friendly, patient and caring English tutor helping children improve their reading, writing, spelling and confidence.

I am a Psychology student at King's College London and work as a Therapeutic Practitioner at Independence Development, supporting children and young people with additional needs, including autism and ADHD. My experience has helped me develop patience, empathy and an understanding of how to adapt my communication to different needs. I would like to support primary school children with English, including reading, spelling, vocabulary, grammar and writing. My teaching approach will be friendly, interactive and adapted to each child's age and ability. I will explain tasks step by step, use examples and enjoyable activities, and encourage children to ask questions. I want to help every child strengthen their English skills, develop confidence and become more independent in their learning.
