I am a native English speaker and I have a TEFL certificate (120 hours plus 20 hours of practical)
As an online tutor, I offer a range of subjects to potential students. For English as a second language, I focus on developing students' reading, writing, speaking, and listening skills through a combination of interactive activities, exercises, and conversational practice.
For English (KS 1 and KS2), my lessons are tailored to the individual needs of each student and cover key areas such as phonics, grammar, spelling, comprehension, and creative writing. I use a variety of resources, including books, videos, and games, to make learning engaging and enjoyable.
For beginner Spanish learners, I introduce the basics of the language, including grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation. I also provide opportunities for students to practice their speaking and listening skills through interactive exercises and conversations.
In mathematics (KS1 and KS2), I cover key topics such as number sense, arithmetic, geometry, and data analysis. I use a range of strategies, including visual aids, manipulatives, and real-world scenarios, to help students develop a deeper understanding of mathematical concepts.
In geography (UK up to GCSE), I explore topics such as physical geography, human geography, and environmental issues. My lessons involve interactive activities, discussions, and case studies to help students develop their knowledge and understanding of the world around them.
For history (UK up to GCSE and 11+ reasoning), I focus on key events, people, and concepts from different historical periods. I use a range of resources, including primary sources, documentaries, and simulations, to help students engage with the subject matter and develop their critical thinking and analytical skills.
