Oxford PhD teaches beginner to advanced Japanese and English classes with rapid progress and study skills

I am currently completing my PhD in Japanese Studies at Oxford University after studying Japanese for 8 years. Originally self-taught, I have developed study techniques, softwares and online references that I wish I'd had when I first started and that I hope to share with my students.
I draw largely from my own Japanese language journey which took me from complete beginner to JLPT N2 (near fluency) in just two years. I have also received Japanese classes from some of the best Japanese teachers and professors in the world's top institutions. This combination of knowing both, how the best Japanese language schools in the world teach Japanese as well as the tip and tricks I've developed as a self-taught student that I believe gives me a particular edge as a tutor. My primary aim is getting the student to be able to achieve their personal Japanese goal as quickly and painlessly as possible.
