An experienced science teacher with over six (6) years teaching Physics, using recent teaching pedagogies to impacting knowledge

Advert description
I am a responsible, diligent, and goal-oriented young man. I firmly think that information should not be kept to oneself but rather shared. Additionally, when the knowledge is being provided, the recipient should be aware of the learning process involved in gaining such knowledge. One of the things that I truly enjoy about the teaching profession is that taking a topic like physics requires not only that the student understand mathematics but also the ability to link, apply, and interpret learned skill from the teacher. This is one of the things I really enjoy about my job as a teacher.
I received my undergraduate degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Uyo and later completed my master's degree in mechanical engineering (Design and Production option) at the University of Lagos, both in Nigeria. In addition to the aforementioned qualifications, I also attained certifications in health, safety, and the environment (HSE 1, 2, and 3). These have been a valuable tool for me to branch out into other disciplines, connect with my students well, especially when it comes to health-related issues, raise awareness of hazards in their surroundings, conduct risk assessments, and emphasize the value of cleanliness in the environments in which they all find themselves.
After graduating from high school, when I was occupied with teaching my juniors during my launch period and disregarding the significance of even feeding myself, I developed an interest in teaching physics in secondary schools. I was delighted to learn that my junior students loved Physics as a subject as a result of my teaching it to them. And closely collaborating with my juniors at school had boosted my general confidence to the point that I could attend tutorials and drive myself to class throughout my undergraduate years at the university. I now have a better foundation for completing my task more quickly and easily because to my extensive knowledge of visual learning. Over time, I've learned that pupils value you teaching them concrete material. They all found it enjoyable when such an approach was used to teach physics as a subject.
This has significantly improved my teaching skills and given me tools to use with my students as I attempt to translate complex concepts into real-world contexts.
