Religious Studies, Ethics and Philosophy teacher with 26 years' classroom experience with outstanding GCSE and A' level results.

As a former Head of Religious Studies, I have honed the skills of building student confidence with a growth mindset, monitoring their progress and acting accordingly in order to provide bespoke, structured support. My approach to teaching has always been rooted in practicality, finding tailored solutions that meet each student's unique needs. I have an extremely strong knowledge of GCSE Religious Studies and specialise in Christianity, Buddhism, Ethics and Philosophy although I have taught all 6 World Religions. I have a strong foundation in verbal and communication skills and a proven track record of going above and beyond with my students which allows them to flourish. My GCSE students achieved the highest results in the South West (August 2024) and I was nominated as ‘Teacher of the Year’ at my last school. My personal effectiveness has unfailingly allowed me to foster educational environments where students achieve and feel supported.
