I offer private tutoring tailored to the individual needs, interests and goals of each student. My approach is supportive, encouraging and structured, creating a positive learning environment in which students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes and developing confidence. I aim to make learning engaging and purposeful, adapting my teaching methods to suit each learner. I place particular emphasis on developing good study habits, organisation, independence and a positive attitude towards learning. Where appropriate, I also incorporate coaching techniques to help students set achievable goals, recognise their progress and take greater ownership of their learning. I believe that building a positive relationship with a student is essential. When young people feel listened to, understood and supported, they are much more likely to engage, persevere and achieve their potential.
