Through my BEng in Chemical Engineering and MSc in Nuclear Science and Engineering, I have developed strong skills in mathematics, physics and chemistry, along with the ability to solve problems and explain complex ideas clearly. My lessons will be friendly, supportive and tailored to each student's needs. I understand that everyone learns differently, so I will take the time to identify which topics students find difficult and explain them in a way that is easy to understand. I will start by going through key concepts, using simple explanations and real-world examples to help students understand how things work. We will then work through practice questions together before students attempt similar questions independently, with guidance whenever needed. For GCSE and A-level students, I will also use past exam papers to help them become familiar with different question types, improve their exam technique and build confidence. My main aim is to create a comfortable learning environment where students feel confident asking questions, making mistakes and improving at their own pace. I want students to understand the reasoning behind their answers rather than simply memorising information.
