I admit that I do enjoy being the "sage on the stage" in my classroom, but I realize that this does little to engage my students in deep thinking. I want my students to be at the center of their learning. It is absolutely essential that the teaching methods you use help students make connections to their learning. Real-life connections make learning interesting and relevant for students. I make sure to still provide my students with clear learning goals, but they are able to make their own choices within that framework. Autonomy helps engage and empower my students, and it enables them to have a voice in their learning. Building relationships in the class is extremely powerful for students' behavioral and academic success. I like to have a few minutes of "real talk" each week in my class for students to discuss topics that are important to them, and that helps break down walls and build solidarity in the class. Teaching online may not have been the norm for most teachers before the COVID-19 pandemic, but there have always been some teachers who prefer to work online. Online tutors often enjoy the freedom of working from home, choosing their working hours, and being their own boss and most of all meet people whom they can serve as an inspiration to help them become a better individual. The great thing about online learning is that it’s accessible to many people. Not everyone is able to go to school, but more people have access to the internet. Of course, technology can be a barrier to education too, but as the years go by, this barrier is, fortunately, breaking down.

I will not only give you wisdom, but I will lead you to the threshold of your mind. My passion draws me to helping profession through my love for relationships, my spiritual experiences and a deep desire to understand life through my own experiences such as emotional healing and process. Those wealth of life experiences provides me an ability to understand each one's journey as well as my knowledge in coaching and mentoring.
