I am a young chef and nutrition enthusiast who is keen to share my knowledge and skills with a GCSE food and nutrition student.

I love teaching at any level, for this subject the theory element is usually the most tricky. Having experienced it myself I would guide the student by explaining it and having them create mind maps so they can easily refresh themselves at anytime along with worksheets and quick quizzes to keep their skills sharp. Furthermore with the practical side, learning the different cutting and cooking techniques is something really useful to visually see. I would prepare examples to show the student and encourage them to have a try at home to keep the familiarity.
