I am a highly experienced Head of English at a leading independent school, with over twenty years of teaching experience and a proven record of helping students achieve outstanding results. I specialise in both English Language and English Literature at GCSE and A Level and have extensive experience working with a wide range of abilities, from students seeking to build confidence to those aiming for top grades.

As both a senior leader and private tutor, I understand how to tailor learning to individual needs, helping students develop stronger analytical, writing, reading and examination skills. My lessons are engaging, supportive and focused on measurable progress, enabling students to maximise their potential and achieve their academic goals.
