Unlock Your Creative Potential: Character Design class (digital art)

Advert description
Unsure where to begin in the exciting realm of character design and digital art? Look no further! Hi, I'm Patricia, a Uk based Digital Artist and I'm thrilled to guide you through tutoring sessions that will bring your characters to life. This course ideal is for anyone who is interested in creating and developing characters for books, comics, games or the screen.

During our sessions, you'll master the key stages of character design, starting from referencing and using basic shapes, to understanding and simplifying complex anatomy and exploring and designing characters from different angles. Learning how to express the traits, personality and emotions. I'll also unveil my personal techniques for adding volume to your drawings and teach you the art of utilizing color and shading to create depth in your designs. I will (obviously) give you personal feedback on your own drawings!

My ultimate goal is for you to gain the confidence and skills to bring your characters to life independently, all while enjoying the creative process without feeling overwhelmed. Let's embark on this exciting journey together!

To give you some background, I started my creative career at U-TAD, specializing in Digital Animation, which has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of drawing anatomy, gesture drawing, colour theory, storyboarding, and character design
These skills, combined with my experience as a Freelance Digital Artist, have given me the opportunity to work on various projects ranging from character designs for novels, Dungeons & Dragons, and video games to portraiture. My diverse background enables me to offer practical insights and real-world applications to my students. I keep working as a freelance Digital Artist, which helps me to continually grow as an artist.
