I am a qualified Art and Design teacher with experience teaching children, teenagers and adults in schools, community arts settings and one-to-one environments. My background includes drawing, painting, printmaking, mixed media, textiles and design, alongside my own creative practice as an artist. I believe that everyone can be creative with the right support and encouragement. My lessons are tailored to each learner's interests, goals and experience level, whether they are exploring art for enjoyment, developing technical skills, working towards qualifications or building a portfolio. I use a combination of practical demonstrations, guided activities and constructive feedback to help students build confidence, develop their skills and express their own ideas creatively. I aim to create a positive and supportive learning environment where students feel comfortable experimenting, taking creative risks and enjoying the artistic process.
