Advert description
I am a Mathematical Physics student at the University of Edinburgh, and I have achieved A*A*A in Physics, Mathematics, and Economics at A Levels. I’ve always been fascinated by how maths and physics explain the world around us, and tutoring became a natural extension of that curiosity. I started by helping friends before exams and realised I genuinely enjoyed breaking down tricky ideas in a way that actually makes sense.
I genuinely believe in deep learning. My goal isn’t just to go through your exercise booklet and solve problems superficially — there are plenty of AI tools for that! Instead, I aim to understand how you approach problems, how you visualise concepts, and help you build the right framework and thought process to tackle any question confidently. Lessons typically last around one hour, though they sometimes stretch to an hour and a half when we’re deeply engaged in a topic. I’ve previously tutored ICSE, CBSE, GCSE, and A-Level students in Dubai, and also worked as a research mentor in Engineering and Physics, guiding motivated high schoolers to publish papers in respected journals. My lessons are ideal for students preparing for their GCSEs, A Levels, or Nat 5 exams — or anyone who just enjoys digging into interesting problems in physics and maths.
