I am currently designing and delivering activities for National 4/5 mental health in Scotland at an alternative school of education. As many of the students struggle with dyslexia, ADHD or fall on the ASD spectrum, I like to adapt my approach depending on the students. My preferred style of teaching involves asking the students their current knowledge of the subject before moving onto the coursework. I find asking questions on what they think about the subject helps to cement their understanding by being able to put it into their own words.
