I’m an experienced Primary teacher who enjoys working one to one with children aged 5- 12.

I have a good rapport with primary children and like to make learning fun within a structured curriculum. I listen to the child and their parent/ carer to find out what may be challenging and to determine learning styles for each young person . I understand how dyslexia and other conditions, including emotional issues , and when English is a second language, can affect how a child learns. I always start from where the child is and build up learning incrementally.
