Primary tutor, specializing in Reading, Writing and Maths

I have a teaching degree from Cambridge University and have been teaching for nearly 30 years. I specialize in Primary Education and am available to tutor pupils from Year 1 up to Year 6. I have a lot of experience of working with pupils with SEN, including those with ADHD, ASD, Dyslexia and Dyscalculia. I like to make my lessons fun and engaging and try to include a mix of games, practical and written tasks. I carefully track progress during a lesson and will then plan the next lesson accordingly. Feedback is extremely important and adapting lessons as needed is part of my regular practice. I am a positive, smiley and welcoming teacher and I understand the importance of building a trusting relationship with my pupils, where they feel comfortable to tell me when they don't understand or where they need some extra help.
