My coaching sessions are supportive, structured, and highly practical, designed to help students feel calmer, more confident, and more in control of their academic and personal goals.
Each session begins with a short check-in to identify what has been most challenging that week (stress, motivation, procrastination, low confidence, workload, focus, or time management). From there, we set a clear goal for the session and work through it step by step. I use simple coaching tools such as goal-setting frameworks, weekly planning routines, prioritisation techniques, mindset work, and reflective questioning to help students develop habits that actually stick.
Alongside wellbeing and mindset support, I also coach students through academic performance: I have extensive experience mentoring students with undergraduate and postgraduate work, including BA and MA essays, thesis planning, research organisation, and dissertation writing. I regularly support students with academic structure, argument development, critical thinking, and managing long-term projects, especially when they feel overwhelmed or unsure where to start.
My approach is encouraging but realistic: I help students break down big tasks into manageable actions, build routines, and develop self-discipline without harshness or pressure. I also support students with exam anxiety and high-pressure deadlines, helping them stay focused while maintaining balance.
My sessions are interactive, personalised, and focused on helping students make visible progress while building long-term confidence, resilience, and independence.
