I am a qualified primary teacher with experience teaching across Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, supported by several years of experience as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant. Throughout my career I have planned and delivered engaging lessons, assessed pupil progress, adapted learning for a range of abilities, and built positive relationships with children and families. My experience includes teaching English, mathematics, science, history, geography, computing, art, music, PE and RE, with particular strengths in phonics, early reading, writing and mathematics. I have extensive experience supporting pupils with SEND, including adapting resources, delivering targeted interventions and working alongside teachers and other professionals to ensure every child can access learning successfully. I am confident using a range of teaching and assessment strategies to identify gaps in learning and tailor lessons to individual needs. I have experience preparing pupils for SATs, developing children's confidence and study skills, and creating a positive, supportive learning environment where pupils feel motivated to ask questions and achieve their best.
