Advert description
I hold a PhD in Education from Durham University, a Master’s degree in International Education (Distinction) from the University of Leicester, and Associate Fellowship of the Higher Education Academy (AFHEA).
I offer personalised tutoring in academic writing, critical thinking, research methods, literature reviews, research proposals, dissertation planning and university study skills. I also support international students who are adapting to the expectations of UK higher education.
My teaching approach is supportive, structured and student-centred. I begin by identifying each student’s academic background, strengths, challenges and learning objectives. Sessions are tailored to individual needs and may include guided discussions, practical exercises, constructive feedback and step-by-step support with academic tasks.
I aim to help students understand academic expectations, strengthen their analytical and research skills, improve their academic communication and become more confident independent learners.
