Advert description
With two years of private tutoring experience and excellent academic results in English at GCSE and IB level, I am confident in my ability to support students in developing their language skills and achieving their goals.
While English is my first language, as someone also fluent in Spanish and intermediate in French, I understand the challenges that can come with learning a new language. This helps me connect with students and explain things like grammar, pronunciation, etc. in ways that make sense to someone from different backgrounds.
I have very strong English skills, having achieved an A and A* at GCSE English and a 7 in IB English Language and Literature (the highest possible score). I am now pursuing a Law degree at Durham University, where precise use of English is essential. Additionally, through my tutoring experience with students of various ages, I have improved my ability to explain concepts clearly, adapt to individual learning needs, and instil confidence in students.
I love teaching others and have regularly volunteered at my school as a tutor to other students during lunchtimes. All my students (within school and private clients) have improved their grades in any subject I have supported them through and mentioned feeling more confident prior to exams.
I love to teach because I believe that everyone is capable of learning anything they want to learn and would love the opportunity to bring my skills and dedication to the team and help students learn English in an engaging and supportive way.
