I can provide Spanish lessons to children in primary school through to A-level. Currently entering year two of my degree at Durham University (studying Spanish and Italian), I feel I can deliver a well-informed education to various levels and age groups.

Dependent on the age and level of experience the student, my lesson plan will change and adapt. However I will always start the class by letting us get to know each other, not only regarding their level of experience and what they wish to improve on, but also to create a comfortable relationship between the student and I, in order to ensure the best outcome for the student. Clearly with a relationship based on trust and understanding, much improved communication between the student and I will ensue, thus improving the effectiveness of my classes. We will also discuss what each of us expects from the lessons, including targets and goals, homework (if applicable), and expectations regarding behaviour and effort (dependent on age). From then on the course of the lesson will depend on the ability of the student, however the class will always end with a review on the skills learnt that lesson, what went well and what can be improved on, either by the next lesson or during the next lesson. The focus of each lesson will be heavily influenced and led by the outcome of the previous one, as well as the overall aims of the student (or parent of the student) regarding their advancement in the Spanish language.
