Advert description
I am a Physics undergraduate at Durham University with a mission to make STEM subjects both accessible and high-scoring for my students. Having achieved 3 A*s at A-Level (Physics, Maths, and Computer Science), I understand the leap in difficulty from GCSE to A-Level and the specific "traps" that exam boards set.
I tailor each lesson to my students' difficulties, whether these are knowledge gaps or academic confidence. I do this with bespoke and specialist slides, which allow my students to achieve their full potential.
I specifically design my slides and lessons to closely follow the required specification, ensuring they are equipped with all the understanding and knowledge to tackle any exam paper they encounter. From my experience, I find it makes worlds of difference to a student if they are exposed to content slightly above their current level, as sometimes this additional insight can make everything else *click*. This is because often some scientific ideas are "overly simplified" for the academic stage, and by cutting out key details and explanations, it actually complicates the matter.
My goal is to ensure my students are not just regurgitating remembered knowledge, but actually understanding it and all of its applications so they can tackle difficult questions on unfamiliar topics.
