Welcome to my Philosophy and Religious studies online class. I cover Primary school up to (and including) A level education

Advert description
I have a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree from Cardiff University and would love to offer my services as an online tutor for all types of education! With 13 years of school experience of Religious education and theology, I am also well versed and experienced in all sorts of Religions and the importance of memorising key ideas for exams. If you Choose my online tutoring for Religious Education and Philosophy you will encounter: engaging, clear explanations, tailored support, strong academic background, proven communication skills, and a passion for helping students achieve confidence, understanding, and success. Within my sessions of philosophy I will have you "Think therefore i Am" and understand why "wisdom is organized life"! Whilst in my sessions for Religious education you will Learn " The education of children For God is the most important business done on Earth".

Firstly, we will cover key course content in each week and look at the reasons for each belief as well as the reason why the scholar argues for them.

Each week we will memorise key quotations for your exam. We will look at how they can support your main point within an essay and provide valid detail to any rebuttals.

Using the "So what?" method, We will clearly outline the structure of a developed paragraph that references the question and relevant course information. The need for both text based evidence and citations, as well as personal knowledge of the topic to defend a point. In particular, understanding how to explain why something is strong

In a later point of each session, we will play devils advocate, so we can look at criticisms of a potential topic or theory and how you can implement them within your exam. Remember, it is so important that we include well formulated counter arguments in an essay.

Before rounding off each session with a brief overview, and having a discussion between eachother on how we can make "synoptic links", in an essay to support or disagree with a particular essay question using another topic.
