I am a native English Tutor with 10 years of experience of teaching English to non English speakers in South Korea.

After completing my degree in Social and Cultural studies and History in 2000 I applied for a teaching job in South Korea - I taught in South Korea for 10 years and was in charge of various classes of students, creating content and strategies for teaching survival English to students ages from 3 to 20. I had freedom to create my own lesson plans in order to help students understand and speak everyday English. Korean was not allowed in the classroom by the students or myself. During this time I completed the CELTA course in order to further develop my teaching skills and experience. I am interested in continuing my teaching of Students after a break of running my self employed business and charity work. I am at the moment undertaking a 140 hour Teaching English course with 20 hours online teaching with Tefl.com. This should be completed in the next few weeks. I will also look for any further training that will aid me in this endeavour.
