Experienced English & ESOL Tutor | 10+ Years' Teaching Experience | CELTA & TEFL Qualified

I am a native English speaker with over 10 years of English teaching experience, including 10 years teaching in South Korea. I am CELTA and TEFL qualified and I am currently completing a PGCE in Education with an ESOL focus.

During my time in South Korea, I taught learners of different ages and abilities and designed my own lessons and teaching materials. My experience includes conversational English, practical everyday English, grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and helping learners develop confidence in speaking.

My lessons are friendly, supportive and tailored to the individual student. I believe that people learn best when they feel comfortable enough to practise, ask questions and make mistakes. Rather than using the same approach for everyone, I adapt lessons to each learner's level, interests and goals.

I particularly enjoy practical, communicative teaching using real-life situations. Whether you want to improve your everyday English, become more confident speaking, work on grammar and vocabulary, or simply have regular conversation practice with a native English speaker, we can build lessons around what you want to achieve.

Alongside English and ESOL, my academic background is in Social & Cultural Studies and History, and I can also offer support in these subjects.
