Advert description
Year 12 student studying Alevel English Literature, achieved Grade 8 in GSCE this summer, Having recently completed my own GCSEs, I understand how challenging GCSE English Literature can feel, from remembering quotations and analysing language to structuring essays and understanding complex themes. I achieved strong results in my GCSEs and have continued to develop my analytical writing, critical thinking and ability to explore texts in depth through my A-level studies.
I can help GCSE students with essay structure, language and structural analysis, character and theme revision, quotation selection, and understanding how to meet the requirements of exam questions. I want to make literature feel more accessible, break down difficult concepts into manageable steps, and help students develop their own interpretations rather than simply memorising answers.
My approach would be friendly, patient and supportive, with lessons tailored to each student’s needs, texts and confidence level. Having recently been through the GCSE experience myself, I know how important it is to have someone who explains things clearly, encourages questions and makes learning feel less overwhelming.
