Is school not an exciting and fulfilling place. I like to have fun whilst also teaching and seeing pupils achieve.

I am a very experienced primary teacher, and headteacher. I have worked in primary schools in the UK and also abroad in Turkey and Azerbaijan. I encourage seeing pupils gain both understanding and self-confidence, often with just a few sessions. I like to blend new topic with links to those already studied. For example the links between fractions, decimals and percentages. If the tuition can also contain an element of fun and enjoyment, that will help to develop understanding. Sessions should be about individual needs and how best these can be both discovered and developed within maths or English.
