Experienced academic mentor/coach. With years of experience working with U.K. and international adolescents, I support students and work on their organisational skills, motivation, self confidence, interview skills and give practical help with selective school admissions. I also teach French and Italian at GCSE and A Level. Sometimes young people can benefit from an independent listener and mentor to help provide structure on their learning journey and I have the experience and understanding to identify their needs and lead them to making good decisions confidently.

My coaching sessions are tailored to suit the individual needs of the student. We identify aims and objectives in our first session and then my lessons are built around these. Input from parents may also be relevant. With many years working in selective senior schools, with U.K. students and many from abroad who are looking to join our education system at various entry points, I understand the challenges faced by adolescents and adapt my sessions accordingly. I know how to motivate young people and I use a variety of resources to achieve this.
