History,Religious studies at GCSE level and philosophy at IB level

I’m Jasmine, an enthusiastic and supportive tutor with a strong academic background in the humanities. I achieved a grade 8 in both History and Religious Studies at GCSE level, and a 6 in Higher Level Philosophy during the International Baccalaureate Diploma at Dartford Grammar School. These results reflect my ability to analyse complex ideas, construct clear arguments, and think critically, which are skills I aim to pass on to my students.

My lessons are tailored to each student’s learning style and goals. I focus on improving essay structure, critical thinking, and evaluation skills while encouraging students to engage with different perspectives and develop their own interpretations.

Alongside my humanities background, I hold a BSc (Hons) in Psychology from the University of Manchester, which has strengthened my understanding of how students learn and how to build their confidence effectively. My teaching style is discussion-based, interactive, and designed to make learning engaging and accessible.
