I am a private tutor with over one year of experience. Currently teaching A-level Chemistry and Year 7-level Maths, am able to teach Primary-level maths too. My lessons are structured, and I am kind and encouraging. I adapt my lessons and homework based on what I think the student needs. For Maths lessons in particular, since my lessons are always online, I write live on a tablet whiteboard. I go slowly, step-by-step, making sure students thoroughly understand concepts and giving exercises to make sure they become confident too. For both my younger and older students, I try to make the environment supportive and encouraging, particularly when they don't like the subject, making sure to build up their confidence and self-efficacy and slowly helping them enjoy the subject more.
