For an English speaker, polish requires a whole new group of sounds. I couldn’t work it out from Duolingo or videos, but found tuition from Marta very effective. Matching my level of knowledge with enjoyable lessons and homework, my polish gets better every day.

Marta is a person who understands the level and complexity needed to teach pupils a new language, she is very patient and always willing to intervene, if help is needed She also provides helpful literature, provided by herself, which is needed to develop pupils understanding of what is needed, as just reading text books, sometimes can be confusing, if not explained. All in all, I find our lessons very pleasant, with a willingness to attend and Marta puts us as ease which helps you to evolve in our understanding

Marta is an excellent teacher! She is very patient and explains complex ideas very simply. She is always keen to try things practically with speaking tasks and role play which helps to solidify your learning. Polish is a very difficult language but learning with Marta makes it that bit easier!
