My overall aims when designing my art and design lessons are: to develop students' visual literacy and creativity through exploring a variety of materials, techniques, and artistic styles. To build confidence in self-expression through art and design language and symbology. To understand the historical and cultural contexts of art and design movements. To support portfolio building and exam preparation (for GCSE-level students)
