He was born in the City of Puebla, Mexico. Basic, middle, and upper secondary education was taken at the Humboldt College in that city. Regarding higher education, at the University of the Americas obtained the degrees of Industrial Engineering, Master of Business Administration, and Master of Economics. At Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México, he obtained a Doctoral Degree in Organization Management. He has done two postdoctoral stays on Binational Administration in the USA. The first, at Kent State University, in the State of Ohio. The second, at The University of Texas-Pan American, in the State of Texas, thanks to the governments of Mexico and the United States that gave him, as an academic distinction, Fulbright-García Robles grant.
He has worked in companies such as Volkswagen de México, Hylsa, Master Asesores, Telmag, Administración Técnica, Silvia Pinal Cosméticos and Sigma Consultores en Investigación de Mercado in Mexico. He has taught several courses in the undergraduate and graduate programs in differentmodalities and in twenty-two universities, public and private, in different countries: Mexico, Honduras, Nicaragua and the United States of America, using academic materials in Spanish, English, French, and German. His professional work has influenced other professional areas such as entrepreneurship, consulting, research, training, technical reviews and the publication of articles and business cases in different university textbooks in Organization, and Management.
In 2003 he was awarded the Award for Teaching Excellence in Education "Maestro Miguel Martínez Cervantes" granted by the Honorable City Council of the City of Puebla de losÁngeles, Mexico. In 2005 he received the National Award "Maestro Arturo Elizundia Charles" from the National Association of Colleges and Schools of Accounting and Administration. In 2011 he was awarded, for the first time in the history of the State of Oaxaca, with the State Prize for Science and Technology in the Area of Economic-Administrative Sciences, by the Oaxacan Council of Science and Technology of the Government of the State of Oaxaca.
From 2001 to 2014, he has co-authored seven books and has conducted three technical reviews of foreign books.
