Experienced English Tutor now available!

I have an Honours degree in English Literature and have been tutoring for over five years. I took my PGCE in English Teaching (secondary level) at the University of Brighton and hold QTS status. I have well over a thousand hours of tuition supplied so far and many, many happy students and parents.

Primarily, I teach GCSE Literature and Language but also tutor Year 9 and A Level. I work on Zoom (I do also teach face-to-face if you're near enough!) and have taught students with varying needs the AQA, Edexcel and iGCSE boards.

I believe in context for Literature lessons. If you're studying a text, how much easier and more interesting it is if you know what's behind it.

I have a background in theatre so can give you good, practical advice on how to prepare for the oral part of your GCSE.
