Improve your Russian Reading and Speaking skills through Literature

I am a native speaker of Russian and Arabic, and I hold a Masters degree in English Language Teaching & Applied Linguistics from a UK university. I successfully taught English and Arabic to non-native speakers previously, as well as helped my own children with developing their Russian language skills (I speak Russian to my children at home).

What I would like to offer through this course is improving the learners' reading and oral fluency through literature and discussion. I am passionate about literature and have an extensive Russian library with a collection of books for all ages and language abilities. In addition to my own books, I have a large children's collection that I started building when my children were little and added to it as they grew older and their linguistic and intellectual skills progressed. As a result, I have a wide range of material, from first readers, through adventures and stories for older children and adolescents to Russian classics.

I welcome learners of all ages and abilities, and based on your needs, we would be choosing suitable books that we would be reading and discussing together. From my personal learning and teaching experience, this would help you expand your language skills and improve spoken fluency.

My preference is for in-person teaching.
