I am a dentist myself and love teaching hence want to teach kids

what i know and think is not important, more important is to make the kid comfortable in a envirnoment where i can teach the kid and gain there trust i would never doubt the capabality of the kid over understanding the subject the kid would be free to ask as many question as they like and wish some teacher might be irritated by the fact that dispite all the efforts the kid doesn't understand or like the subject but i am not one of those its important to clear the kids confusion again and again and make them fall in love with the subject at the end of the day ita not about the subject but its about how you retain the knowledge and this is only possible with a reliable teacher
