Drawing, painting and sculpture lessons for children and adults. GCSE, A-level and university portfolio preparation

I am a professional artist and experienced art teacher offering one-to-one lessons at students' homes. I teach children, teenagers and adults of all abilities, from complete beginners to students preparing for GCSE, A-level, art scholarships and university applications.

Lessons are individually tailored to each student's interests, ability and goals. I teach a wide range of techniques, including drawing, watercolour, acrylic and oil painting, sculpture and model making. For younger children, lessons are engaging and varied, helping them develop creativity, confidence and strong practical skills. More advanced students can work on observational drawing, painting techniques, composition and portfolio development.

I have over 20 years of experience as a professional artist and have taught private art lessons since 2014. I have helped students successfully prepare portfolios for GCSE and A-level examinations, university applications and art scholarships to leading independent schools.

I hold an MA in Theatre Stage and Costume Design and have exhibited extensively in the UK, including with the Royal Society of British Artists and the Society of Women Artists, as well as at galleries in Cork Street and other London venues.

I provide all necessary art materials for the first lesson. For regular lessons, I can advise students and parents on suitable materials according to the techniques we choose to explore.

I travel to students' homes for lessons and am happy to teach both regular weekly students and those looking for focused portfolio or examination preparation.
